I started this pic a while ago and today I finished it.
It was an exercise where I just copied this scene from Sidooh manga by Tsutomu Takahashi-- I really love the way this author inks and shades, so I tried to train my hand with him.

I used various tools to ink this pic :3

Don't know, too tiny pens sometimes unsettle me...

Same here, I always sucked at detailed stuff and when I entertained myself in such activities it was mostly to challenge myself :D
I'm still used to the worst kind of art tortures since I went to art school, though (like, filling whole A4 sheets with freehand straight lines-- AND restart them again if the lines are not straight enough ;_;), so I guess that sometimes I just have to remind myself the old times with some smartass exercises XD

Yes, only when you really feel or have to challenge would I tend to detail.
Straight lines on A4 until they look straight? That sounds tough. o.o
