Mistake

“Nate! Nate! Hold up!” Eliot rushed out after him, catching up just as the older man began fumbling for his keys, trying repeatedly to get the correct one into the door lock. “Nate, you’re drunk.”

“Well, yes, Eliot, that was in fact the purpose of my drinking,” Nate informed him calmly, the slight slur in his words the only difference between ( Read more... )

Sniff... Well it was beautifully written. This is a story that was waiting to be told. Now you just need to write the... alternate conclusion??

Alternate conclusion? Uh-uh, nope. I will not be pressured into another fluffy ending. Nope. Not again. ;P I need my angst. I thrive on it. Like coffe and chocolate. =D But I (probably) won't kill any of them in my next fic. ...Probably. Anywhoo, thanks for the review! =)

Well, it was very good angst. I wouldn't really want you to water this down with a fluffy ending anyway. ;)

Ouch. Your story made me completely tear up. It is just so sad that this seems like such a likely possibility for Nate and Eliot. Nice work.

Thank you! And I'd say I'm sorry for making you tear up, but really, I'm secretly giddy about it. It lets me know I did something right. ;P

Thanks! I am so glad that you like it! Lol, I am very amused by the fact that you like the way I wrote Eliot's vernacular. I'm from the far South-Eastern area of the US, so my whole life my teachers have been trying to get me to stop speaking like that (I'm an English major, I'm supposed to "enunciate") but it's apparently a bonus for writing Eliot. So, cool. =) Anyways, thanks again, so much for the review!

OMG, you made me cry! Fic almost never does that. So sad, but so good.

Ooh...this was simply fabulous. I love angst, I live on it surprisingly enough...and this my dear was amazing angst. I loved how you kept echoing how Nate had been there before. It was beautiful, especially the end with Except this time he pulled the trigger. That line slayed me. Brilliant and wonderful...fantastic job.

*Does ridiculous-looking Happy Dance* I'm very glad that you like it! I love angst too (although I usually can't bring myself to read ones in which my favorite character *coughEliotcough* dies, oddly enough) and I am very glad that there's another angst-lover out there too. =) Thanks so much for the lovely review. Now please excuse me as I finish my Happy Dance... *Prances off merrily*

Lol! I usually kill off my favorite characters. Or putting them in angst filled situations. It's so much fun to torment them... Oh well! But yes, yours is a gem. You deserve a happy dance. ::joins in dancing::
