Dropping names.

Recently I've decided to standardize my network naming conventions. As it is, my devices are named whatever I think of at the time, which can get a little confusing. I tried to standardize it with Final Fantasy names. Of course, they are all mythical and Japanese, thus hard for my poor old mind to remember ( Read more... )

Well, given that you are running an excessive amount of Microsoft products, maybe you could go with (in)famous Dictators, or Mass Murderers. I'm sure you could come up with nine of either without issue.

Pffft. Problem with that is that I need to name 10 devices... and I'm just not that much of a stud.

No one can blame you for that... I wouldn't be able to name ten 'devices'.

Although maybe the problem lies more with the fact that you have ten devices to name!

you could go for an astral or space theme like steve and I did. My PC at home is called "Aurora", our network is "Stratus" and our server is "Avalon". It's a handy theme , I like it :)
