This seems pretty plausible, with Jamie trying to convince himself he doesn't want Cersei. Cersei is also pretty in character, going about teasing her brother just because she's bored.
“I will not be unprotected, Ser, she told him impatiently.
Not to be too nitpicky, but I think you missed a quotation mark after the second comma in this sentence.
Thank you! I kind of worried because as I stated elsewhere, I haven't really gotten anywhere close to their respective POVs yet... so there was a lot of guessing involved.
And I fixed the punctuation, thank you for pointing it out. <3
Very plausible, definitely, an in character, though not my particular interpretation. Of course, you're not very far yet and etc etc you know what I mean.
I very much like the idea of Cersei teasing Jaime with a toy from when they were young, though; it fits in with his motif of growing up and away from Cersei, while she clings to the past and keeping them both defendant on each other.
I see what you mean with my eagle eyes. Yes. And it was one of my concerns, so it's good to be reassured. <3
And I'm glad you like the concept! It was somewhat the direction where I was trying to go, I guess. I kind of owe Lise and you for this - if it weren't for our conversations/RP, I wouldn't have had this take on Jaime at all.
