btw, I did very much get a kick out of that book you sent me! Everyone was like, 'why did she want you to see it? It's chinese.' ^.^o

My sister was just telling me the day before that an 'OTAKU' from Germany (i think) was getting inspired by 'death note' and actually murdering people. Apparently the person was even leaving a note saying 'watashi wa kira dess' near the bodies. Now, isn't that disturbing!

But I'm glad you enjoyed the book -- I thought it was pretty exciting... if not for the language!

*nod* that is pretty scary. Actually, I was surprised that that book was a chinese book, because I'd heard that DN was banned in China because of situations like what you said about Germany. sad, ne.

Maybe that's what that comic book store owner was talking about. Jen & I were at 'Another Dimension' and the lady there was telling us that Death Note (tho she didn't know the name) was being banned in Japan. It sounded pretty fishy to me, since the whole thing had already been printed and published ages ago.
