today is the observance of Veterans' Day; it's one of those weird holidays where there's no mail, and schools are often closed, and some people have the day off, but for most people, it's a regular work day. the overall effect is that commuter traffic is generally somewhat lighter.

yeah, like Columbus Day and MLK day... if you don't have kids in school, your only clue is when you don't get any mail, or the garbage doesn't get picked up, or the bank is closed. anyway, have fun with the quicker commute home ;-)

DUDE! That is hilarious.....I somehow forgot the double ring thing. I seemed to recall it was like C3p0's head in cereal form. I acutally ate the stuff, it was good too as I recall. I was disapointed when it was pulled from the market.

Still, quite a relic. Thanks so much for finding it!
