This was so fun to read!! I loved their interactions. :3
She wasn’t sure if it was the flushed look of embarrassment of Glinda’s face or the notion of what it was like to be a girl - concerned with things like fashion and hat hair.
I especially loved this line. It pretty much captures my view on Elphaba's character. She doesn't really fit in anywhere, not even the social constructs of gender. She's not male or female, nor really in between. She's just there, and she seems content with just watching everyone else run around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to please the world and try to uphold certain social roles.
...Slight character study aside (which is mostly just my view on things), your fic was absolutely amazing. Definitely on my list of favorites. :)
I am slightly addicted to the character study side of things- I'm not sure why. But I am so glad that you liked this, and holy comment I appreciate the comment too. I was so incredibly nervous when I posted this because it's my first venture into the Wicked fandom at all and yeah. Nerves like crazy. I want to write some Elphaba/Fiyero stuff because I just love the idea of them but there doesn't seem to be a ton of that fic so at least I don't have to worry too much? Haha.
