Wow! Yes definitely a busy, though interesting/exciting, weekend! Glad you get the day off to get some rest, or do more, as the case may be :).

I've done some of both. :-) Slept in this morning (relatively speaking... I think I got up about 9, instead of the normal workday 6:45), played with dogs for awhile, did some FD website work, did some actual work work (reports that were due today), took a FEMA online Incident Command System course (my second of four), did some more website stuff, went out and worked in the yard so I could enjoy the sunny day, started another ICS course while hanging out on the front porch in the rocking chair (yay for laptops and wireless!) and now I'm snuggling cats (or, more accurately, they're snuggling me... I've been surrounded!).

I'm contemplating whether I want to cook or go grab takeout from the new local pizza joint.

Now *that* is a full weekend! But it sounds full of good things, so that's great! (And of course you don't need sleep - you're a filker!) *grin*

Sleep at _some_ point is a good thing. :-) Even filkers have to refresh the brain cells occasionally!

It was a good weekend. And one of the happy side-effects of the fire department involvement is that I now know about five times as many people in my tiny little town as I knew two weeks ago. Yay for meeting people!
