I love this echo of Arwen and Lúthien.

That would be news enough to cause one to flinch. And very poignant to think that Lúthien also toiled over a battle standard, just as Arwen would someday.

Very rarely do we see a story like this and I'm glad to see it. Wonderfully done, to provide these glimpses into Lúthien and how foreshadowing that she work on a standard as Arwen does.

The breath of evil comes upon Lúthien by this means and for the first time, illustrated so well by this. It must have been a very painful discovery.
