Very evocative.

This describes Eowyn's feelings very poignantly.

(In fact, it seems so close to how I would imagine them that I wonder what the credit to Glen Morgan and James Wong refers to?)

hhimring, Glen Morgan and James Wong were long-time writers on the tv show "The XFiles", and were responsible for many of the show's greatest episodes, including one of my personal favorites, titled "The Field Where I Died". I took this from a soliloquy that a character has in that episode.

This is very intense and emotional. It also seems to be a perfect lament for Théoden by her.
