Oh - poor Halbarad, to lose his friend so suddenly - and know that his friend doesn't want to go may be better, or worse!

Haven't quite decided yet as to whose company Aragorn gets to keep - though if it is our boy's, it won't be Halbarad's for very long.

Now I'm curious, after reading this, as to their going.

Well, I'd hate your sense of curiosity to be frustrated... *g* I dare say they can continue for a touch longer.

Poor Aragorn, Gandalf was a tough taskmaster at times.

I'm sure he was - look how he dragged Bilbo out the door without even his pocket handkerchief! *g*

Very powerful, how you capture Aragorn's feelings! This must have been so hard for him.

Thank you.

In these stories I think of him as being young enough to have less control over his emotions... hence I can show his raw feelings in what are tumultuous times for him. I hope you've enjoyed them. The drabbles that is! *g*

Absolutely! One of the great things of fanfic is seeing a seemingly known character from different viewpoints and different times of his/her life. I really love your Aragorn series for the glimpes into his youth!
