Still so heartbreaking. To miss the funeral of someone so dear, and know that the world will shortly forget where he lies, would be a double grief to me. Poor Gilraen. I still want to hug her. Well done.

This is good. I can feel Gilraen's bone deep misery combined with her resoluteness to get Aragorn to safety.

Poor Gilraen - she never, as the Chieftain's wife and then the Chieftain's mother, really got to put her own needs first, did she? I'd never thought before of her not even being able to see Arathorn buried. How sad.

What a miserable time this was for Gilraen; her husband dead, wrenched from her home and family. The misery of the journey matches this perfectly.
