I had been wondering if Gimli would become involved!

Somehow bequeath kept bringing me back to him - but this one was quite hard to get together.

I had been wondering what responses this prompt would suggest and I'm honestly glad you could bring it together.

How marvelous, and how true. The soul of the axe is indeed in the head. Well done. I'm STILL stumped on this prompt - argh!

It almost had me stumped, too. But bits of this were sort of in the aether and finally, last night, it came together and made sense.

And it struck me that a dwarf would think of the metal head being the axe - the wooden handle simply being the delivery system, so to speak!

*nods* That seems very right and fitting - and a suitable object to be 'be-thingied' to an awed boy! ;)

What an incredible gift. Someday, Eldarion will fully appreciate it.

It is a wonderful gift - I'm presuming that Gimli has already decided he is not likely to have any children of his own, of course.

That was quite a gift. (And "bequeath" is hard to get your tongue around when you are little :))

Thank you - it's hard enough to get your head around when you are an adult, I found, when I saw it as the prompt!
