That is gorgeously sensual. The ocean is a good metaphor for desire.

All encompassing and delightfully dangerous? There's something primeval about sea-longing, I can easily understand it, I feel it myself at times... and if ever I go to the sea-side I have to go and at the very least touch the water.

I liked seeing the flip side of the first point of view. And as others have said, this was very sensual and very well-written.

Thank you! I'm very pleased you found it so. :)
Sometimes those older drabbles inspire the thought that the tale begun therein is just not finished yet. *g*

A feeling I know very well! Which causes me to wonder if the tale above is not yet completed ...

I'm hoping not... I just need the muse to come through for the rest of the prompts! ;p

Thanks very much!

I love the sea myself, and living in the middle of rural England... it always seems a distant enticement, beautiful, but ultimately dangerous - to be regarded with a mix of longing and fear.

You made me feel the water in these drabbles. I love the sea.

I love it when I'm away from it, and when I'm beside it - but I'm totally unnerved when I'm actually on it!

I love both of these, so beautifully evocative.
