I like this insight into the very different perspective on personal history that you might have if you're a long-lived Elf, and a reembodied Elf at that! How strange must it have felt to revisit in your "second" life places and people you'd known before your death? (And come to think of it, did that happen to some Elves multiple times??)

For some elves, it might well have happened more than once. The unlucky ones, or the ones so low in status that they are basically considered cannon fodder - the foot soldiers thrown into the melee time and time again. Thanks for reading and commenting :-)

Hmm. I wonder if after a couple of go-rounds, some of those cannon-fodder Elves might have just decided to stay in Mandos, or refused to get conscripted again - "Not my turn, I've died three times already!"

LOL, now there's an idea for a plot bunny...

Thanks. I imagine that many reimbodied elves had to face themselves while experiencing their new lives and that it wasn't an easy journey for any of them.

An interesting look into an uncomfortable situation.

Thank you. Fortunately all will turn out well for Helyanwe and the welcome she was hoping for will be hers indeed.

If you never ask, you'll never find out... Good on her for overcoming her concerns and going in after all.

She's a brave woman, my Helyanwe. And she loved the Valar. It hurt her greatly to leave them behind when the kinslaying happened.

I'm so glad she has the courage to go forward, through the memories and into the future. Nicely done indeed.

I do love my glassworker. She keeps cropping up in so many of my stories, I should just settle down and tell her tale in full. Thank you for reading and reviewing, I appreciate it so VERY much.
