She has found her vedia, it would seem, with the help of Queen Melian. Most interesting to see how it was she chose to construct her mirror.

She found her medium, an affinity to water... or perhaps it found her, and Tolkien does say she learnt much from Melian... :)

Thanks - she's a character I haven't considered very often before, it seemed interesting to consider how she gained her powers and experiences.

I really like the idea of Melian teaching her how to use this uncalled for talent.

For once I'm riffing on canon - the Professor does mention her learning from Melian.

Still waters run deep. I love the idea of Melian and Galadriel in cahoots (now there is an image to make the male Eldar tremble!)

With my proof-reader's hat on, one query - should "un-sort" be "un-sought"? (Sorry, I am congenitally pedantic like that...)

I knew I was wrong about 'sort', but all I could think of was 'saught' and I knew that was wrong! Thanks for that = edited. :)
