I like the image of the birds flocking around the puddle. No wonder it made Frodo laugh. It's good to see to him healing at last.

I love it when I find our family of partridges are gathered about one of the puddles in the drive to drink and bathe, and am certain Frodo would have loved seeing a small flock doing similarly. Thanks so. (And have you seen your birthday drabble on HASA yet? Nudge, nudge!)
