What Elves and Dwarves wrought -- the gardens and the walls, and a bright future for the whole city. What a perfect way to round off a season of gifts!

I should certainly hope so! But the memories of men are short...

But stone lasts (and so do trees!) so I'm hoping Men will remember too - at least while the line of their long-lived Kings endures...

I think they must have been happy - they seem happy even looking ahead to it in RoTK, so I'm sure realising their plans for Aragorn's City brought them great satisfaction :-)
