Thanks. Livwen is a recurring character in my fics post-sailing, one who starts as a child companion to the Hobbits and especially Frodo, but who in time comes to love and then to mourn the leaving of the Ringbearers. That she might bring a kitten to Frodo just seemed possible!

Thanks so. If the climate of Tol Eressea was fairly temperate, the lack of snow and ice in winter must have felt at least somewhat odd to Frodo, particularly in the first few years.
