No, puns are fine! We love puns!

And I love this drabble, the way your language pulls us right into the action: swift, violent, clashing, confusion Excellently done!

Hah, you wait, I have An Idea for the next one too...

Thank you for the lovely comment! There wasn't much time to get into the picture so I'm glad the few words did their job!

**applauds**

Well done on an unusual use of the prompt, and a really good drabble!

I think it's a brilliant use of the prompt - and a really good drabble too - a lot in a little, perfectly put!

Wow - thanks! "A lot in a little" just about sums up what I'm trying to do with most drabbles, so I'm delighted you liked it so much.

...twisting the prompt beyond recognition

I'd never let that get in the way of a good idea - after all, it's a prompt not a command, and, to me at least, half the fun is finding a novel interpretation - I love to read stuff that is outside the box.

This is both compact and comprehensive, lovely use of sharp 'action' words to pull us into the feverish moment of the raid... and then the slowdown, like the relax of a bow, in that last line - very nicely done!

the slowdown, like the relax of a bow

I think that's better description than I produced myself! Thank you for such lovely feedback.
