*feels all swoony and lightheaded* Poetry-spouting Boromir! Lute-strumming Theodred!

I like very much, and don't find the idea of Boromir being familiar with love poetry out of character at all - I think he's got all kinds of social graces that Tolkien never gave him credit for, a clear case of his being overshadowed but his romantic graceful little brother.

And Theodred and music? That just goes together like oysters and asparagus. Figs and Peaches. Chocolate and, ah, more chocolate. Great job!

Too true! canon!Boromir is all about nobility, not quite so much about humanity... but then we as fan-ficcers can oblige with the rest! ;D

*G* - Likely Faramir read that bit to him in the first place... but it might have been that trip to the tavern in the Second Circle where the merchants from Pelargir lodge.
