Poor Elwing, learning to listen to the gulls and finding they have no news to tell her!

(Donut would like to clarify that not all seagulls are as unhelpful as the gulls in this story. He, for example, is very helpful. *amused*...or should that be a-Muse-d? XD)

I like, especially, the description of the conversation of the gulls; that is exactly what they seem to be saying when they sit on my roof.
