Title: Departures, a set of four drabbles Author: Kortirion Rating: G Source: LotR Disclaimer: Tolkien’s story - not mine… apart from a hard-as-nails, soft-as-butter guardian.
Thanks, but I owe a debt of gratitude to just-ann-now - it was her character that originated the charm-sewing for Boromir. Hoping she will see this and post a link to it that I can't find. ;-)
Ah now I'm glad you're there.... I've been trying to find your original drabble about the charm-stitching for the cloak and I can't find it in the archive here. Do you have a link?
Great! I'd entirely forgotten it was a poem... and didn't we generate alot of comments back then? Thanks for looking, I didn't go back far enough. 2005... wow indeed.
Thanks, as you can see, partly inspired by a little bit of fanon orginally generated by just_ann_now ...and shamelessly appropriated in the pursuit if a good story. ;-)
Thanks I'm pleased you enjoyed them - I have yet to complete the series with 'picked up a glass' but hope to wind up this viewpoint with a thought from each of them.
