Love it! Maybe Arwen could better use her new "lady" as a bodyguard. :)

I have this inner vision of a pink gown that has certainly seen better days with ripped seams, pink, bedraggled ribbons in her hair and beard, and a gaggle of other maids of honor who will gather together to make this poor dwarf's life ar court almost unbearable. Except that Arwen won't allow that, and if Eleanor arrives, she won't allow it either our of her family honor towards the dwarves who befriended Bilbo, Frodo and her own Da.

I can't wait for the next prompt in this series ...

A Dwarf maid of honor! I never thought of that before. What a marvelous idea.

I'm looking forward to the rest of these prompts. For a change my muse is yelling at me and I'm absolutely loving the fact that I'm writing once again, and with such a fun theme.

I like Ingfjöa already - those other maids better not be too nasty to her - or her brother might find out and tell his friend - who will no longer dance with them when he visits!

She's a brave one to go forth and serve a foreign Queen. I suspect Gloin wasn't too happy at the notion, especially considering the mysteries surrounding dwarven females. But I think she's inherited the same dwarven stubbornness that served her family well through the years.

If any dwarf woman ventured forth like that, among the elves and Gondorians, I could see it being a sister of Gimli's!

Given how protected and sheltered dwarven women are, I think it probably took Gimli's intervention to get his sister out of the mountain and into the city. If she's half as smart and stubborn as her brother, she'll make Arwen a formidable ally and protector.
