the Queen’s Glade the Ents had planted for her at the mountain’s foot beyond the city-walls

What a marvelous idea to think about!

Thanks. Sometimes I think I invest far too much discovering other pieces of Middle-earth - but then The Professor did invite us to do so. ;-)

Amah! And the sea-shells! *happy sigh* I love the image of her teaching crafts to Eldarion, as unwarlike a hobby as can be imagined. And Pippin, in a moment of introspection - lovely.

It was quite a revelation going back through my files, there was stuff in there I'd entirely forgotten I'd ever written! These, I think, were '07.

Hee. edoraslass had the same experience last night - she was looking for a fic she remembered, and found a load of them she'd forgotten.

How wonderfully pensive. especially the final one. That garden has seen a great deal over its lifespan.

A motif in its own right - though solely in my AU!verse.

Thanks.

I hadn't read these before and it was so nice to get what is, for me, a new glimpse of the Amah who I have also grown fond of over these past years..

They sort of got lost in the mists of time - hence I thought they were worth re-posting as I doubted anyone would remember them, but they form part of The Amah's world.

Arwen feels apart from everything but it's a good way of seeing how long she wasn't there. It's also nice to think the Ents planted a garden for her.

Bit of a cheat as this all comes from a very un-canon reading of the meta-world of Middle-earth - but its my story and I like it! ;-)
