How interesting. Rivendell must be the repository for so many more wonderful and revered things, some of which we're still discovering through tales like yours.

I know I read somewhere that Elrond carried back Gil-galad's spear after the battle at the Black Gates. It seems reasonable to me that he would keep it in Imladris, there to be honored along with the shards of Narsil and other items of similar pedigree.

I'd love to travel through the halls and chambers of Imladris. Such amazing things would be around every corner.

Thanks! I made your suggested changes for my B2MeM story, so all is well there too :-)

I'm always delighted when you enjoy one of my little tales *hugs*

I could picture the twins doing this quite clearly.

Thanks! I'm sure I would have my eyes drawn to that polished blade and the bloodstained banners also.

Oh - I do like the idea of Imladris as a great, Elven, mathom house!

I am quite sure that I remember reading about Elrond taking possession of Aeglos after Gil-galad's death. It seemed reasonable that he would return it to Imladris, there to cherish and protect the history and heritage of an elf who had been so vital to his own growth.
