Thanks! one of the endings I considered had Mag getting snockered off the good brandy Boromir had given her, but I decided not to go quite that gloomy. Too many words, anyway.

Very nice. I love a good female voice, particularly a jolly female as she seems. This is indeed a good one. Very sweet Boromir. Sad Faramir. Lovely.

Oh no, it wasn't really meant to convey Sad!Faramir. Rather, I wanted to bring up the idea of Faramir and Eowyn building traditions of laughter, joy, and storytelling within their own family, since these elements may have been missing from their own childhoods.
Thank you for the jolly female voice compliment - if I had lived in Minas Tirith, being the cook is probably as close as I would have gotten. But hey, that would have been enough.
