Wonderful! I love this pair of drabbles, so much, the progression from Master Estel to Master Strider. And I adore that this is only the middle of the story. It can't be finished symetrically, but I'm sure a conclusion can be found. Are you going to? or may I think about it? Not sure I could work in a riddle though, so you'd be better.

And yay for me, I got one, and would've gotten another except that narrowmindedness did me in - I tried to think of trees that Estel would have known about, rather than Strider. Bah.

I hope the conclusion works for you :) Now that the rhyme finally works for me. Grrr.

I tried to think of trees that Estel would have known about, rather than Strider.

Some riddles take a long time to solve ;)

Neat. I got three and a half (one I only after someone gave a clue.) Just amazing how much you manage to pack into 100 words.

Beautifully, beautifully done. :)

And I loved this bit:

“That Tree has died,” said Aragorn. “Since then, no man has seen a child of Nimloth East of the Sea.”

*happy anticipatory dance*

Like shebit, I'm Aragorn-centric; the thought that all of this builds up to, and culminates in, his restoration of the Kingship is immensely appealing. *grin*
