Contronyms Challenge; bolt. And Sew it Begins.
Having mentioned two meanings of bolt when I posted the challenge, what came to me involved a third!

Whilst other females of her people had sometimes taken up weapons, like Luthien, her fore-mother, Arwen had promised to remain here, under the protection of Father and his warriors, until the war is either won or lost.
But she could not sit here idle-handed, for then her fears might overcome her. She sketched out her design and then went purposefully to the storeroom to select a bolt of heavy blue silk, silver threads and white, for the device on Aragorn’s banner.
