August 4th; more than a month has gone by since "The Big Bang" was first aired. Never mind, will be looking forward to your thoughts when you can organise them! And Sherlock is great fun, isn't it? (in a terribly clever-clever, plotty, sharp-dialogue, ooh-look-a-perfect-excuse-to-have-an-intellectually-brilliant-emotional-void-of-a-hero sort of way...)

Hey! thanks for looking forward to them! It's an honour, I'm a follower of your journal both here and at Google Reader, so I'm enthralled with you reading mine.

Sherlock is just marvelous. I read some of the books back when I was a teenager but I've been out of the loop with the character for quite some time; and I could never summon the courage to watch the Guy Ritchie version, which looks waaaaaay to po-mo for me. But this one, I was overwhelmed even though my expectations were pretty high. Beautiful writing, acting, script... I'm an avid comic book reader too, and as I was watching it, I couldn't help feeling this team would make the perfect, definitive Batman; this Sherlock is closer to the heart of Batman than Nolan's version.
