Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

So, what did people think of the Percy Jackson movie? Without spoiling anything, I will say I didn't think they made any horrible changes. A LOT was simplified, but if you view the movie as a sort of companion to the books, I felt like it worked pretty well

I actually didn't mind it at all. It might have been rather different in some ways from the book, but it was fun. I went to see it with a bunch of classics students - even though some of the humour was left out, we still got the jokes that were there.
