Ho man, I remember those Gameboys. I still do have a GBC, but that's nowhere near as impressive in size. ♥ Less successful as a bludgeoning device, too.
It's all the same. :/ Jirou's in love with Atobe. Atobe's whoring himself out to Yuushi/Sanada/Tezuka/Shishido/anyoneelseinKantouwho'severplayedtennis and doesn't notice. Jirou is heartbroken. Le sad. The end. ... It really gets old, yeah. XD;

True, that. :/ Haha, well, you know Atobe is every fanfiction writer's whore... XDDD *laughs* Yeah, I don't like all the depressing AtoJi out there. I read one once where Jirou went into a coma and Atobe didn't visit him, so he died. O__o
I mean, AtoJi seems like such a happy, sweet pairing to me... I don't get all the angst. Of course, some angst is fine... It would probably suck to be in love with someone who's loved by almost everyone in the entire universe, not to mention in love with himself... But Jirou's such a bouncy, optimistic type; I'd think he'd just do his best no matter what.

Oh God, there's a part 2 to that story. I don't know if I can take that. As interesting as the plot is, the rest of it just kind of sucks. No one's really in character. And the random Japanese as always is fail. Though I have to admit that last line was pretty good.
The random Japanese really did get on my nerves, but I managed to get through it. The only part that stuck with me was Yuushi's use of 'baka,' and I think I know what she was trying to convey there. Yuushi's from Kansai, where 'baka' is a severe insult, and 'aho' is used more lightheartedly. Still, it was obnoxious to read.
The characterization wasn't so bad, though. Atobe definitely wasn't all there, but it was a nice change from the usual 'Ore-sama's left and right, and ignoring Jirou to whore himself out with [insert tennis player's name here]. I think I got used to it after a bit, too. Gakuto was more emotional than I'd have liked, but not altogether girly. Choutarou's perversion was very much overplayed, but another nice change; at least he wasn't a spineless uke, you know? And the girl's writing style, random Japanese aside, was neat.
She does have a knack for 'last lines' in scenes, too. The last line of part two was similar.
