Troy and Achilles

I have no idea why I respond to movies like Troy, Last of the Mohicans, or any other period pieces, but I do. Something inside me moves, passion stirs, and I want to be the victor in the battle I face daily. I know why you respond to movies like Troy and Lord Of The Rings I, II, and III hehehehe.... I read somewhere in a great book(Waking the Dead - John Eldridge) that most stories and myths ignite from biblical stories. Not a bad thing, considering that these stories get written on our hearts, not our minds, and when it comes down to it... we tend to relate to our hearts more than our minds. Is it not true?
Tuesday, it was 113 degrees outside.

Frodo conquers the evil powers against him and destoys the ring that has brought so much evil into the world from the beginning of it's creation. What will you remember more 2weeks from now?

man, i gotta read the books now.......hehehehe all i can quote from is the movie.
