American Akira loses its director. Unfortunately they say that the project is still on, but hope springs eternal. I already thank whatever lucky stars that put Keanu Bebop in limbo.

One project I do wish would go forward is the Death Note movie. If the Japanese live action proved anything it was that it can be done, and done reasonably well. Half
