A couple little things: Last large paragraph - "It would be a month of Sundays and more before you started to get grow tired of the silence," I assume you only want "get" or "grow", not both.

Also, I looked up "appogiatura" and it's supposed to have two g's, as in "appoggiatura." Nice word though. Grace note.
