Michelle and I are planning on visiting New York from around Jan. 4th or so til around the 10th. Would anybody or any combination of bodies be willing to let us crash at their place while we're in town? I promise we will hang out with you/buy booze/bring you cheap cigarettes/regale you with stories of Williamsburg in return ( Read more... )

Although I may not have a place there yet, I'll almost certainly be there for part of that period, so if nothing else, we should hang out, drink booze, smoke cheap cigarettes, and swap stories of Williamsburg.

Yes.
We have a couch that sleeps one, a big chair that might be a bit too small to comfortably sleep one but exists, a large hammock if you like sleeping in hammocks, I have a double bed, Amy has an extra bed roll, there are a lot of big pillows and an abundance of floor space. These things are all interchangeable. So if you know someone else with a futon or something you might want to split it up and crash there a bit if you like your sleeping arrangements simple. In fact if you do end up crashing somewhere else as well two (a couple) of the five people who live here will be gone for a bit as of January 8th I believe, so as of then we're Spacious, that'd be an available bed if they're cool with that. But you're welcome for whatever, whenever.

I was going to respond to this earlier but forgot.

You're welcome to stay at my place. We kid that our house has become a hotel, but that's mainly because, well, it kind of has. Like most New Yorkers, we don't have much space, but we do have a pull out couch. You're more than welcome to crash here a few nights or so. Get a taste of the Queens and good, cheap food! Well, only if you bring me a puppy. I want the one down there with his feet in the air.
