[TRANS] 100906 TVXQ Trio Signs Business Contract With Public Relations Agency Prain
Three members of TVXQ, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu and YoungWoong Jaejoong, have signed a general communication business contract with domestic PR consulting group Prain.
The TVXQ trio revealed that, "Till now, we've been releasing official statements through our legal representatives. However, we will make clear statements and create various communication channels through Prain, systematic and specialized in PR, from now on. We will continue to communicate with our fans, the media and representatives of the entertainment industry through the PR consulting group."
Prain, which has provided its services mostly to politicians and businesses, has helped in personal image management and communication for past presidents, soccer star Park Ji Sung and figure star Kim Yuna.
Prain stated, "We are not TVXQ's agency; we will act as the three members' spokesperson, manage their image, and provide marketing for various activities."
Prain has created an entertainment business team to take on the job.
Team leader Kim Sang Woo revealed that, "In countries other than Korea, there are many cases where there's an agency that is in charge of a star and a separate PR agent who acts as that star's spokesperson and gives advice on the star's image and marketable quality. Our team will be in charge of the latter and we plan to have an open partnership with our stars."
