TVXQ's YoungWoong Jaejoong, Xiah Junsu and Micky Yoochun (a.k.a. the TVXQ trio) have formed a new group and will be making a Korean comeback in mid-October. This will be a return after a year and two months since their dispute with SM Entertainment began. The TVXQ trio will join hands with Warner Music Korea and have set a comeback for October.
They are currently planning a showcase and an Asia tour that will take them across ten countries including Korea. As this album is focusing more than activities in all of Asia rather than just Korea, it can be presumed that they will not have many broadcasted domestic activities.
American hiphop star Kanye West and famous producer Dark Child participated in the album, and the TVXQ trio flew to America during the summer to complete all recordings of songs. This album is said to also hold songs composed by the members themselves.
There is already a great amount of attention focused on the trio from K-pop as to how big of a ripple effect the trio's comeback will cause in the industry and how much their psychological warfare with SM Entertainment will intensify.
One K-pop representative said, "There have been many disputes, but the three members of TVXQ are still powerful in terms of popularity," and added, "However, we'll have to wait and see how they resolve the complicated and tangled relationships that have formed because of the lawsuit." Another representative said, "I've heard that the three members have been thinking a lot about an album release with Warner Music for a while," and "Their work is being carried out cautiously."
