I can't say I've heard the term back home. While I was here... I think I heard the term in passing once on one of the strange occasions that I spoke with a vampire known as Walachia.

Yes. TATARI was a vampire whose power was to manifest itself accordingly under the shape of a feared rumor, and it was by that power, along with Tohno Shiki's unused mentality, that Nanaya Shiki has been brought into existence.
