It had been just after the first meeting with Lightning and Hot Spot. He had seen the young dragons off to bed, and resolved things with both young men. But there was still one matter to attent to that evening

"Hm," he said, reclining on a chair, "They are fine, upstanding young people."

"Naturally," he said, walking back to his desk. "But I'm glad you think so. But nevertheless, my good friend. This means that we have found all eight dragons - the ones we need for the ritual."

He sat down. "I trust that now, you will be willing to tell me what we need to know in order to proceed."

He didn't jump to his, so much as levitate himself until he was vertical. He began to pace the room, idly perusing the various decorations and trinkets in the room.

"Oh, if you insist. I do hope you're paying attention, because I hate to repeat lessons and you will be tested on the materials. A very pass or death exam."
