I'm like on episode....I think...either 6 or 7 of season one.
It was on Toonami while ago, but they canceled it. D :
I had seen parts of it before when I was little, on the Japanese channel, but that was a while back. It's only now that I rediscovered it and am watching it in its entirety. Saint Seiya is one of those anime that isn't really popular over here, so it's kinda hard to find.
Just in case... the beginning can be kinda slow, so hang in there! Once you get to the Sanctuary Saga it gets absolutely awesome \:D/

From what I hear, it was a truly horrible adaptation, not at all faithful to what it's supposed to be. Wouldn't personally know myself, though, for obvious reasons.

Yeah, I know, and it's hilarious, because in many other parts of the world Saint Seiya is HUGE. Like, maybe not huge NOW, with teenagers that watch... whatever anime teenagers watch these days... but when you get to a certain age range, EVERYONE knows Saint Seiya. Like here, you may not be an *~anime fan~*, but if you watched cartoons at all, yo at least have passing familiarity with Saint Seiya. Hell, it's STILL on tv here.
Yeah, I saw the English Toonami dub once and blanched. The only thing good about it, I think, was the fact that they had that Flock of Seagulls song in the beginning. D :
My friend, who's studying in Italy, says that Saint Seiya is on all the time on TV too! I don't know why Saint Seiya didn't cotton on over here in the United States--stuff similar to Saint Seiya got popular, but I suppose they didn't bring Saint Seiya over here early enough. D :
I was at the video game store at the mall last week and I completely forgot to preorder (they even had a sign saying TO PREORDER). I was looking for a copy of FireRed or LeafGreen with my friend (didn't end up finding one), and then had to leave to go bikini shopping with my girlfriends (oh, the tribulations of being a fag).
But anyway, AH:GOWUGHRWUE WANNNTTTTT. I've never played a second gen game, like, ever, so I'm retardedly excited for thissss.
Also, FFFF, Saint Seiya. I used to watch the english verison when I was a kid and it was on TV, but I've never seen/read the whole series. I remember that I liked Shun and Hyoga best, from what I had seen. :)

Saint Seiya's pretty cool! I'm watching it casually, usually after I've finished knocking back a couple of episodes of Fist of the North Star.
I'm on a real retro kick recently. XD
