The show looks good. I'm looking forward to it. People are already comparing it to Den-O but that was a rather polarising series :(

I was having doubts about this show, but then I saw T-Rex kaijin, and suddenly I was REALLY looking forward to this series. XD

I'd say that the only thing this has in common with Den-O is the bright tone and the lightheartedness. In terms of story and themes, no.

(Also FYI, I liked Den-O, but for reasons different from most of its fans.)
