[Background]
Suu never knew her family properly; she never knew her father, and her mother gave her to the Clover Project at the tender age of four - once she realised her daughter was worth something. There, she was treated to a number of extensive tests and experiments in order to fully explore the nature of her powers as a four-leaf clover. As the most powerful of the ‘clovers’ - children with magical powers - Suu was a rare commodity. Though the government had put out a nationwide search for any sorcerer children - known as the Clover Leaf Project - there were few three- and four-leaf clovers found. Only two three-leaf clovers remain, and only Suu is of four leaves. It is later revealed that if a four-leaf were to ever hold anyone dear, that person could inherit the power to rule the world; this is why four-leaf clovers must always remain in solitude.

She spent the better part of the next decade in a self-imposed cage with little to no human contact. She lives with one mechanical bird, one cat, one dog, and one rabbit. It is during this time that she eventually picks up on Oruha’s concert via radio signal. Through a voice call - Suu was not allowed to use the video function, as per General ‘Grandma’ Ko’s request - she began to speak with Oruha, getting to know the older woman. Through these calls, she learned about the world, about music, and about Kazuhiko. When Suu eventually heard from Oruha that Oruha was going to die, the pair of them decided to write a song together: this was Clover. Suu is responsible for the continued play of the song after Oruha’s inevitable death, having allowed - only after Grandma Ko’s suggestion - the statue to be erected in Fairy Park, and consequentially, the fairies to sing for her.

Suu initially met Oruha through a dream, in a way - she claimed one morning to have heard a fairy in her dream, singing. Their dreams are said to have overlapped - that Suu saw what Oruha was dreaming - and the seed of curiosity is promptly planted in her young mind. During this time, Suu keeps in constant contact with Grandma Ko via video feeds as well as memorising all of Oruha’s songs, which she sings in her free time. Suu explains that she can hear any sound in the air, no matter how small, and this is how she hears Oruha’s unreleased songs. Seemingly obsessed with Oruha, Suu expresses a desire to speak to her, despite the High Wizards’ statement that she not be allowed to communicate with the outside world. This is Suu’s first thought of the world outside her cage.

General Ko eventually allows Suu to call Oruha via phone, and they begin a basic communication. Suu explains that she’s a fan, and Oruha - despite her wariness at being called at home - continues the conversation. As their conversations get deeper, Suu gradually learns about the outside world she has no personal experience of. She maintains her own secrets, and Oruha humours her biggest fan; the relationship shifts at some point to ‘good friends’ and even ‘best friends’, what with the level of intimacy their calls has reached, and they decide to write Clover together. Eventually, Oruha explains to Suu that she’s a one-leaf clover, and knows precisely when she’s going to die. Suu loses her best friend, and it’s that day that Kazuhiko retires from the military. Meanwhile, Suu creates a small statue of what she imagined Oruha to look like as a personal epitaph.

It is much later that Kazuhiko arrives at her cage on a transport mission from the Wizards to deliver ‘an important package’. This important package is Suu, trying to fulfill her last wish to go to Fairy Park. It is the first and only mission he’s taken since he retired. Though Kazuhiko does not know the intentions of the mission with Suu, Suu knows exactly where they need to go. Because of her level of power and the number of those who wish both to prevent her arrival at Fairy Park and to take her for their own usage, she requires an escort; as Suu knew through Oruha who Kazuhiko was, he was chosen for the job. Suu meets one of the three-leaf clovers, Ran, whose escape she was aware of when it occurred. At that time, Suu expressed an admiration for “C” (Ran) for having been able to escape his cage and to have become reborn as “Ran”.

Suu and Kazuhiko use a transporter as the first jump-off point for their journey, but find themselves quickly intercepted by the Azaiean military in an ambush. Kazuhiko fends them off, and the pair quickly arrive at their next stop - the Shiao Mao rebel militia headquarters. It is here that Suu and Kazuhiko begin to get to know each other, and it is revealed that Bols - a higher-up in the Azaiean army who has history with Kazuhiko - has a device to track the radiation of Kazuhiko’s weapon module.

After Suu and Kazuhiko get away from the army’s attack, they return to the Shiao Mao headquarters, where the leader helps them to escape. They are unable to reach Ran for a second transport, thereby resorting to traveling the old-fashioned way: by plane. It’s during this down time that Suu and Kazuhiko get to know each other. At the other end of the trip, Bols meets them, challenging Kazuhiko to a sort of duel - Kazuhiko tells Suu to run when he tells her to. Despite Bols’ statement that the fight is one-on-one, the army ambushes Suu. It’s only when Kazuhiko and Gingetsu dispatch the attacking soldiers that the three of them manage to escape potential fatalities; Kazuhiko sustains minor injuries, offering Suu and him another intimate moment. For the most part, their journey consists of obvious character developmental moments.

Their next stop is at a hotel, where Suu first reveals her clover abilities. The Black Ops attack the pair sometime during the night, and - when they’re seemingly cornered - Suu leads Kazuhiko out the window, promptly sprouting a pair of wings and giving off an energy pulse that fries Bols’ tracking device. It is shortly after that she reveals to the unknowing Kazuhiko that she is a clover, and that her abilities lie within her, rather than with the assistance of a module. Despite Suu’s admitted regrets that perhaps she shouldn’t have been let out of her greenhouse, Kazuhiko vows to continue until they reach Fairy Park. On the next leg of their trek, Suu decides to tell Kazuhiko about the Clover Project, up until they’re interrupted by an extremely persistent Bols following them. Ran manages to transport them out of mid-air.

Ran’s transportation bring them to Fairy Park, and it is then that Suu admits to Kazuhiko that she wanted to come to see the statue of Oruha, despite its varying inaccuracies; the statue depicts precisely how Suu always imagined Oruha to appear through their voice calls and Oruha’s concerts. It is shortly after that she admits to loving Kazuhiko. Though she doesn’t precisely know, Suu expects that this is how love feels - she knew from Oruha’s stories about him that she wanted to meet him.

The moment is promptly interrupted by the Wizards attacking Fairy Park; upon Suu’s arrival, they had to make sure her end of the bargain was met: that she destroy herself once her wish was granted. The Wizards set up a large mesh of wiring to bring down the park, unwittingly injuring Kazuhiko in the process. Before his injuries become too grave, he and Suu join briefly to help destroy the statue - rather than let themselves both be crushed by the statue, they shoot the head off, stopping it mid-fall. They share a tender moment before Bols shows up again, stopped only barely by Gingetsu; Suu creates a winged transport to return both newcomers with Kazuhiko for medical assistance before taking up her place upon the shattered neck for a final reprise of Clover. It is here that she dies happy, destroyed along with the remnants of Fairy Park.

[Personality]
It is a given from the first moment we meet Suu that she is a sweet young girl. She generally gives off an air of not being flustered by much, likely from her years under experimentation, and at the same time, she has a certain level of understanding beyond her years. It’s this understanding of the world that allows her to keep herself sane while under self-imposed isolation - she knows she must be alone, and for the world’s sake, she obliges. Suu is perfectly content with her state of being up until the moment she meets Oruha.

Her friendship with both Oruha and Kazuhiko - though largely that of Oruha - changes her personality for the better; rather than remaining an isolated entity of power, Suu eagerly and calmly learns about the world, reacting to everything with the adoration of one who hasn’t experienced anything. She seems to have a certain acceptance of everything - this likely stems from her early lack of family and friends. Despite this, she is still a child, and treats things with a childlike interest, as shown when she interacts with a real cat for the first time. Nothing can distract her from her curiosity, but she won’t push a matter if someone expresses a disinterest in discussing it. She is incredibly polite.

Her childlike affection for everything is matched only by her adult level of respect for everything: when Kazuhiko doesn’t ask her about herself, she wonders why, but appreciates that he doesn’t. She trusts easily, but doesn’t give up her personal secrets until she is ready. When not presented with something that catches her eye, she is very reserved and calm. She takes everything into stride, paying attention to normalcies rather than the strangeness of being surrounded by new things. Though most people would react to some of her circumstances with at least minimal shock, Suu tends to react with only a flicker of surprise that fades quickly; surprise only truly seems to grasp her when it comes to interpersonal interaction, such as finding out that she is genuinely cared about. Due to being alone and being resigned to this fact, the idea of someone loving her is clearly hard to grasp.

As such, anyone who displays such an affection is bound to receive it tenfold from her. To say that she latches onto those who care for her is untrue: she prefers to stay in their company, yes, but her general understanding of the world allows her to accept that they probably won’t be together all the time, if at all. She is happiest when those she cares for are happy, and when her few wishes are granted. She doesn’t ask for much, but when she does, it is clear that they mean the world to Suu. She wouldn’t ask for anything that was impossible, and will always compromise if it means getting her wish.

The only time Suu is decidedly sad - though her sadness more resembles nostalgia in a way - is when it comes to her being alone. Perhaps because she has been brought up to believe that she is never allowed to have friends or outside connections, she is resigned and almost regretful, as if she wishes she could change that she is a four-leaf clover. Because this wish is impossible, she never speaks it aloud; one must read between the lines to see what she truly desires. A constant in Suu’s vocabulary is that no one will cry for her when she dies, because she’s alone. While it may sound like a cry for attention, she states it as fact, with little to no emotion held in the words.

It’s possible to say that she falls in love easily, but at the same time, her idea of love is rather less than what most people consider it. She is noted to have loved both Oruha and Kazuhiko in a very similar way, though whether it is platonic or romantic is unspecified. One could assume easily that she loves Oruha the way she might an older sister, and Kazuhiko romantically, but her age suggests a relative innocence in the way she perceives and gives affection. She tells Kazuhiko at one point that she knows she loves him because it is how she imagined love to feel; it can be presumed that Oruha would have taught Suu precisely what love feels like, from the stories about Oruha and Kazuhiko she would have heard.

Suu is, perhaps, a bit difficult to please. While she is ‘content’, she is rarely describable as ‘happy’. She merely hopes to be happy upon arrival to Fairy Park, rather than assuring herself it will happen. It’s possible that, in her greenhouse, she had very little emotional stimulation, and is slightly stunted as a result. She doesn’t seem to adhere to general social constructs, only realising Kazuhiko was awkward about changing in front of her when he stated it aloud. It’s possible she’s also just oblivious.

Suu feels a strange amount of guilt throughout the series, particularly whenever Kazuhiko gets injured. This likely stems to her affections for him, and a natural assumption that she doesn’t want anyone she cares for to get hurt, much less because of her. She seems to have many regrets when it comes to leaving her greenhouse as well, likely because it is a very selfish gesture on her behalf. In addition to this, she regrets not wanting to answer questions on someone else’s time, but making sure to keep them on her own. Suu is nothing if not a giving young girl, wishing nothing but the best for most people. She offers to stay awake so that Kazuhiko can sleep.

As far as things go, Suu isn’t terribly chatty. She prefers to answer questions directly, mincing few words. This likely stems directly from her time in the greenhouse, when she had few things to speak to. She mostly talks to herself in solitude, but usually in response to something she’s heard distantly - she speaks to Ran while in the cage as someone might yell at a television: he can’t hear her, yet she speaks to him anyway.

[Abilities]
As the only four-lead clover in existence, Suu’s abilities are rather powerful - she technically has the power to rule over everything, if she so desired, or even to destroy the world. However, she limits herself to be as normal as possible, only using any of her abilities in a time of absolute do-or-die need.

Suu can hear any sound, no matter how small. In Somarium, this ability is dampened quite a bit, and is limited to only a small area around her. She can hear things within a building, if inside, and within her immediate line of sight when outside. She does not use this ability to eavesdrop, nor does she act on most things she hears. For all intents and purposes, she ignores them.

She can also detect the lower level clovers and determine their strengths and location at any point in time. Though she is aware of them, she has never previously met them, until Kazuhiko brings her to Gingetsu and Ran.

She can release energy pulses that destroy and render electronic devices unusable. This ability is controlled in the series, and rarely used; in Somarium, it is dampened to only fry particular devices that Suu wishes. The only point at which she utilises this ability is to prevent Bols from finding and killing her or Kazuhiko.

When Suu wishes it, she can fly. Only once does she produce a pair of wings, but it is notable as an ability of hers. The wings seemingly fold back into her shoulder blades when she isn’t using them anymore.

[Affection]
Being of a young age, Suu tends not to show much physical affection besides hugs and minor kisses. She is, however, a very loving character, and will probably treat yours with a great deal of respect and possibly adoration as deemed necessary.

[Fighting]
Though she is relatively capable, Suu prefers flight over fight; she will do anything to get herself out of a tight spot in place of throwing a punch.

[Other Permissions]
As Suu is a relatively accepting person, all permissions are granted. For certain situations, please contact the mun as needed.
