Ok check this out. Nothing personal, and I still love all, but all of the "woe is me" Valentine's garbage I've been hearing today needs to be addressed. Fuck this Christianized monogamous relationship dumb honky bullshit. I am not even jokingSee, I know that if any of you actually managed to snag a significant other, you would immediately alienate ( Read more... )

I really like this song. I dunno why I like it so much, but I do. It is a superb song. It actually has merit today, also. It is today's theme song. I refuse to have long sentences. Short is better. It reminds me of old war morse code broadcasts.

You've been talking about a lot of psychedelic/garage albums that I've never even heard of. I kind of like it.

I've been on a huge psych/garage/folk kick as of late. I just use slsk and type a random search based no year and genre or year and country of origin and it turns up tons of results. Many of these artists only have one or two albums, but a few are amazing albums and a few others have a good collection. Artists that I've found that have at least a few albums that I've been hooked by are Frijid Pink, The Incredible String Band (nearly 30 albums including the boxed set and all wonderful), Love (though I've known about this artist for years), 13th Floor Elevators (same as Love), A Cid Symphony, John Hartford, Bevis Frond, All Saved Freak Band, Angel'in Heavy Syrup, Les Rallizes Denudes, and Sir Lord Baltimore ( ... )

I'm a firm backer of Love, 13FE ISB, A'IHS & LRD. I'll make an effort to hit up the others soon, especially since I haven't taken in any new music in awhile.

I haven't been psych digging in awhile, but, to spread some love back, The Gurus - The Gurus are Hear! (there are three amazing songs on this record), Quicksilver Messenger Service - S/T & the Human Instinct singles collection were all enjoyed thoroughly today.

That website looks like it has some promise; hopefully I'll get on slsk later this weekend.
