Oh, this is beautiful.

Poor Crowley! His pain is palpable here, whether he tries to hide it or not, and that it seems Aziraphale is the only one capable of really hearing him (The things, instead, he hid inside other words, just waiting for someone who knew him well enough to pry out)... guh, LOVE.

I adore how you've shown what happened to Crowley, very well done! Picturing it all is rather heartbreaking-you've written it all so vividly.

Wow... I really, really loved this.

Thank you so much. I've procrastinated with this fic for two weeks or so, because it kept changing direction without asking me. I'm glad the end result is good.

Exactly that. He speaks Crowley-ese, which is a very handy talent to have if you're going to spend a good deal of time with him.

Thanks, I've been trying to picture his Fall for a long time. I think this has finally got it down how I see it in my head.

I literally went, "Awww," at this. Poor Crowley. *hugs him, then runs away*

I love how Aziraphale understands what Crowley doesn't say and Crowley knows it. You really brought out their six thousand years of friendship beautifully. And the memories were SO sad. :'(

Thank you, I really wanted to get the friendship thing across without overstating it took much in the text. The memories depressed me too, it's probably why it took me so long to write it.
