Heatwave and fires further north, but here in the City by the Sea we seem to be in our own little magic weather kingdom. Storms. Lashing rain and howling winds. All that jazz. My shutters blew open three times last night

The Holiday is the only Xmas movie I really like. It's funny, the DVD is right next to me when I'm reading your post because I intend to watch it sometime next week :).

People hugging, shaking hands, etc, make me super uneasy whenever I watch a movie or tv show those days :/ .
