A public holiday today. I did some constructive things: I washed the laundry floor, put up a little trellis for my sweet peas to grow on, reconciled my bank statement, sorted out lunches for the next few days. I bought a lunch box recipe book last year, and that's one of its suggestions. I wouldn't have thought of it myself. :-)

I have a lunch box recipe book that does all the work for me. Left to my own devices it would be a very dull lunch. :-)

Hmm ... a halloumi toastie. Isn't Tim from Masterchef hoping to open a toastie food truck? Maybe an idea for him. I saw he has returned - bring on the "stone the flamin' crows" Chips Rafferty dialogue.

I suspect my previous cat, who loved watching TV and hearing kittens squeaking on a Youtube kitten-cam, might have been a better prospect for the cat music. None of that is Alistair's cup of tea at all.
