So many on my FL did this meme. I was only interested in the music one and I put a post together but it's not public (it didn't seem right to just do day 5 and ignore the rest).

I like your choices, a very different taste to my own but then everyone's taste is so different and diverse. I really like Little Wonder - Augie March.

People took so many different approaches too: current favourite songs, past ones. It's been really interesting.

If you like the Augie March one, do check the rest of that album, Strange Bird, if you can find it. All the songs have a similar sound (I mean that in a good way!). :-)

your experience with the skin inn ad is exactly like my own with the british airways ad! the one from 1989 with the face. it took me years to discover that the music in it is the flower duet from lakme. whereas with the power of youtube it took me approximately 90 seconds to find the video.

Young people today who can google music they hear on ads. They don't know how lucky they are!
