Let me show off two packages I received ...
They are gifts with no strings attached! I got them through some sort of lottery held by two Japanese fans purely out of their generosity!
CHAN TO SHI NAI TO NE! SMAP SHOP 2009 "CHAN TO SHI NAI TO NE!" and "Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana (S.O.N. version) singles
The fan was giving away 4 photobooks and 10 singles. Coincidentally, exactly 14 people applied! I could actually choose the SMAP in NY photobook over the singles but I thought I should be happy with either, considering it's almost impossible for me to get my hands on the merchandise. She even included a self-designed New Year card - in CHAN TO SHI NAI TO NE! colours!
Arashi 5ｘ10 Anniversary Tour Pamphlet
At first I thought my luck had miraculously changed for the better because I thought many people would apply for this, but apparently only two people did! So my luck is not fantastic afterall. But looking on the bright side, at least my luck is good enough for me to get it with a 50/50 chance! The pamphlet itself is not cheap (~$30), and some fans are charging it at an even higher price (~$50) so I kinda gave up on it. I can't describe how lucky I am able to own this ... The pamphlet is especially special because it's Arashi's 10th anniversary tour! She also included some lovely postcards printed with fanart drawn by herself.
They really made my day and it's not even because I got these stuff free. I enjoy giving presents, but I'm not sure if I can be that generous with people I hardly know. Really touched by their kind gestures!
