Looking back, I think I spent quite a bit of my life dreading things - from CCA to interviews and times when I have to begin a new routine.

I dread dreading. And I think I want to stop dreading.

Taking up the assignment means I'll have to face the same kid (whom btw is very adorable, and I don't dislike teaching her) and the same demanding parents ( Read more... )

Have you learnt transitive (自動詞) and intransitive verbs (他動詞) already? I think what he meant was やる気 isn't something that can come out by itself (出る), but something you have to exert by intention (出す). I didn't try to translate it in the post because I know it would suck :P Maybe this would more helpful? XD

I had the first lesson last week but it was more of an "orientation". Had the second lesson today and oh man primary school kids have really short attention span!

Haha how short was her attention span? I think her parents really very kiasu leh, but at least you like the kid!

Haha just wondering, you know I'm not referring to Arashi's Captain right? XD

Can tell she's tired and lazy to think after doing a few sums ... then she'll start going to the toilet XD
